    The Brief

    The brief was to fit an insulated internal ceiling to this P-shaped uPVC conservatory in Chandler’s Ford, following the different roof angles and incorporating recessed spotlights.

    Our Solution

    We fitted a timber framework beneath the existing roof, installed multifoil quilt insulation and boarded the ceiling to suit both sections of the P-shaped conservatory. The original external roof and uPVC windows and doors were retained.

    Installation summary

    Completed on 2 November 2026, this installation brought together the framework, insulation and plasterboard across the conservatory’s adjoining roof sections. The photographs show the original roof, the insulation being fitted and the boarded ceiling with lighting prepared. An illustrative image shows the ceiling with a smooth white painted finish and the spotlights seated in place.
