A lean-to conservatory with a glass roof and no insulated ceiling.
Our Solution
This lean-to installation was carried out in stages. First, timber battens were fixed to the ceiling and the existing glass roof was treated with a coat of special paint. Next, SnugRoof™ multifoil insulation was fitted across the ceiling and walls, followed by a second layer of battens to create a fixing surface. Plasterboard was then installed and secured throughout. Finally, a plasterer came in to skim the entire ceiling and walls to a smooth finish. The homeowner then furnished and decorated the room as a dining room.
